G-クレフ

G-クレフ（ジークレフ、G-clef）は、日本の音楽グループ。東京藝術大学音楽学部の学生だった落合徹也、後藤勇一郎、榊原大の3人によって結成されたインストゥルメンタル・バンドである。

概要

グループ名はト音記号 (treble clef) の別名 G clef に由来する。バイオリン、ピアノ、チェロなどのアコースティック楽器を用い、クラシック音楽のアレンジやオリジナルのフュージョンミュージックを制作・発表した。確かなテクニックに裏付けられたブレイク（即興演奏）やステージ上での派手なパフォーマンスなどから、荒唐無稽ならぬ「高等無稽」などと評された。メンバーを少しずつ変えながら活動し（柏木広樹、渡辺剛、菅原豊人、宮崎仁のほか、現在はニューヨーク・フィルハーモニックの団員である岡本哲史や作曲家の松尾早人もサポートとして一時バンドに参加していた）、1990年にはインストゥルメンタルバンドとしては初めて『 NHK紅白歌合戦』に出場するなどしたが、1994年に解散。メンバーの一部は現在でもインストゥルメンタルを中心として音楽活動を続けている。元クライズラー&カンパニーのバイオリニストだった葉加瀬太郎との交流も盛ん。
